Each order is begins with your online purchase. Your order is processed through our website and is immediately followed up by one of our team members. They will go through each detail for your dress, right down to ensuring you have an accurate size chosen for your body measurements.

The production of each of our wedding gowns begins and ends in our Australian production studio. We design each dress using ethically-sourced, quality fabrics and then cut and sew each gown made-to-order. When choosing an ELAVONZA gown you are ensuring luxurious, quality made fabrics with structure and support for a flawless fit.

We understand the importance of a perfect fit, and we also recognize that all brides come in unique shapes and sizes. This is why we use quality fabrics that move freely on the body, but we also make sure that our gowns offer support and structure so that you look as flawless as can be! Our design, production and quality control is all managed in our Australian studio. All dresses are made-to-order for our brides.

When it comes to making our gowns, there are two things we value; A high standard of quality control and ethical made-to-order production. It’s important to us that we have control over our emissionS footprint and that our gowns are sustainable. Making our gowns made-to-order elimates the harmful excess that can come from ready-to-wear fashion.

The benefit to the ordering online process? You get ongoing support with one of our design team members during your entire ordering process – and your dress is delivered straight to your door. We ship worldwide via DHL Express.

Please allow us atleast 24-48 hours to respond to any enquiries. Our team does not work on weekends. If you have contacted us on a weekend, please wait until the following business day. We are based in Queensland, Australia so if you are in another part of the world, please take into consideration the time difference.

We ideally like to have our wedding gown orders delivered at least two months prior to the wedding date. We advise you to order your gown at least 10 months in advance. If you are in a rush, please contact our team ASAP as rush orders can be accomodated for an additional fee.

Our gowns are all despatched from our Australian studio and take roughly 6-8 months from the order date. Shipping is sent via DHL Express and takes approximately 2-3 business days. Your signature will be required on delivery.

IMPORTANT: Please try on your dress as soon as it is received. Do not wear any makeup, lotions or self tanner.

Our dresses are made according to your measurements you provided. We highly recommend all brides get their measurements professionally taken. Since each body shape is unique, we advise all brides to take their gowns to a local alterations shop in order to have the dress tweaked to be a perfect fit.

If you feel we have made a mistake with your measurements, please bring it to our attention immediately. We can only assist in correcting this issue if it has been brought to our attention within 24 hours of receiving your order. Please send us photos of your concerns and we will happily ensure that it is fixed up.

Because your dress is a made-to-order item, we cannot offer refunds. If you need details on what made-to-order means, you can refer to our information page here. If you would like to see more photos or enquire about the details of the design of your gown prior to ordering, please contact our team. The dresses we use for our editorial photoshoots are the ones we keep in our studio and are identical to the new made-to-order ones you would receive.

Unfortunately we cannot offer a refund due to change of mind. Once your order is placed we will begin production of your dress specifically to your measurements and specifications. If we have not began production on your gown, you can still choose a different style, but a refund will not be processed. We also are unable to offer refunds if you feel your dress doesn’t suit you.

Our gowns ship world wide. Import duties, customs and taxes are not included in the shipping fee and can vary based on your location. The amount charged is at the discretion of the customs agency within the destination country and is determined based on the value of your package. Payment of duties and taxes are due at collection/delivery. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what the additional cost may be.

Where are the ELAVONZA bridal gowns made?

Each of our ELAVONZA bridal gowns are made in Australia. We design each dress in our studio, and with our intimate production team we make each gown.

What is a Made-to-Order gown?

When ordering a Made-to-Order dress, that means the gown begins production when your order is placed. Based on what you have selected, your size, and any customizations you’ve specified, we begin making this dress specially for you.

Made-to-Order also enables us to be ethically resourceful and environmentally friendly by reducing wastage of fabric.

Do you do worldwide delivery?

We most certainly do! No matter where you are in the world, we will help you through the ordering process and ship our gown straight over to you. All gowns are shipped with a tracking number so you can watch your dress make it’s way safely to you!

I'm a rush order bride, can this work for me?

Don’t worry last-minute brides, we are here to help. We do rush orders in as little as two months for an additional fee. You can select this option when you are checking out and we will verify your wedding date when the order is placed.

When should I order my gown?

Our standard delivery timeframe is about 4 to 6 months. You will also want to leave yourself a few months for any necessary alterations. Ideally, you would order your wedding gown about 8 months prior to your wedding date.

Can I try the gowns on first?

We currently only sell our gowns online and at a couple select locations in Australia and Canada. However, you can keep an eye on our website to see when any new retailer locations have been added.

Once I place my order, what is the process?

Our team looks after you from the moment you purchase your gown. We will promptly get in touch to confirm your wedding date, size and measurements, along with any other details you’ve specified. Our in-house production team will take care of making your gown, taking care of every little detail. When it is ready our quality control team will check your gown to make sure it is of our highest standard. Your gown is then dispatched from our studio and delivered straight to your address.

How do I determine my size?

You will need to take your bust, waist and hip measurement. In order to get a true measurement, make sure you are not wearing any thick or padded clothing or undergarments. Based on your measurements, you will then compare them to our size chart to determine your closest size.

If you determine that you are closer to one size for the top, and another for the bottom, you can choose to order a Split Size. This option helps get you into a gown that is closest to your body measurements, which alleviates the need for much alterations after your gown arrives.

If you have any questions or need help with your measurements, e-mail us at info@elavonza.com
